A Deep Dive into Real-World Applications of Notion in the Business Landscape.
During the peak of Covid-19, as the world swiftly pivoted to remote work, Notion's prominence surged. While the buzz surrounding the platform is palpable, it's essential to discern its genuine impact from mere hype.
The question is, do companies actually use Notion? If yes how? Here’s a series where I dive into what makes Notion work for all these companies.
All the information has been gathered from Notion’s interview which you can find it HERE.
1. It’s not just a wiki
According to Haruka Kasato from SmartNews, Notion has changed how the way their company work. Instead of going into a separate tool to create a wiki, Notion is already the go-to place they go to DO WORK every day. Gone are the days where you need to go to Confluence to update your wiki, open JIRA to track projects and Excel, Doc etc…
2. Simplicity
While Notion might have garnered a lot of reputation for being a complicated tool. Yet if designed well, Notion can be an intuitive and simplistic system that only gives YOU WHAT YOU NEED. I still remember the days when I was using JIRA with all its gazillion features that I was forced to use.
3. Adaptability
Taxfix, Erope’s leading mobile tax declaration app is constantly adapting to new demands and changes. For them a tool that can consistently grow alongside their company is crucial. If your company of 50 grows to 200, there are not many tools that can adjust to your needs as Notion.
4. All-in-one place
This is probably one of the most popular claims when you hear people talk about Notion. While I personally don’t think it’s the only tool you need to run your company, one has to admit it’s damn close to doing everything while keeping things as simple as possible.
